Eden CISD

Early Release – Friday, January 23
Out of an abundance of caution due to the threat of severe weather, Eden CISD will have an early release at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23.
All students will have the opportunity to eat lunch prior to dismissal. Buses will run at 12:30 p.m.
This early release will allow everyone time to get home safely and prepare for the incoming weather. Please take care and stay warm this weekend.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the weekend and will share any updates as needed. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for information regarding a possible late start on Tuesday, January 27.

High School Basketball Update:

Due to illness within the Lohn girls basketball team they do not have enough players for Thursday, so the Varsity Girls game vs. Lohn will be postponed to next week (we'll have a date set by tomorrow).

The Varsity boys game has been moved up to 5:00pm vs. Lohn in Eden on Thursday, January 22nd.

Due to the chance of inclement weather this weekend we have decided to postpone our Taste of Eden event to Sunday, February 8th. We would also like to encourage more people to participate to make this a fun family friendly event that we can hopefully continue for years to come.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather this weekend, the Varsity games have been moved up on Friday, and the JH Tournament on Saturday has been cancelled.

All changes to previous communication on the updated schedules have been highlighted on the attached schedules.

Congrats to our own Blake Teeple who has been selected to play in the 2026 FCA All-Star football game. Blake will suit up for the Blue Team in this 11-man classic on June 6th in Abilene!

For the JH games at Paint Rock on Thursday, the “A” & “B” teams will be the same as they were against Menard. As of this time, these will be regularly timed games w/no running clock, so start times should be accurate.

Tuesday, December 30th:

The Lady Bulldogs will play Grape Creek at 9:00am

The Bulldogs will play Sonora at 1:30pm for the Consolation Championship.

All games will be in the New Gym on Tuesday, December 30th!
