Congratulations to these exceptional musicians who participated in the State Solo & Ensemble competition yesterday. Every contestant achieved the highest rating of a 1. The talented musicians include the trio of Hena Bhakta, Emma Sperry, and Rylinn Robertson. Emma Sperry also competed individually with piano accompanist Matthew Cleveland, who is the Middle School Band Director at Ballinger ISD.
Summer workout schedule is attached, for Eden students who will be in grades 7-12 for the 2026-27 school year.
We hope to see you all make it up here as many times as you can - improve your speed, quickness, power for both performance & injury prevention!
At the same time, take time for your family, enjoy your summer, be a kid. We understand if you are out of town or have other commitments. But if you're around & have nothing going on, put in some time to make yourself & our program better!

We are looking forward to working with our athletes this summer, but we will have no athletic activities next week (except for some summer basketball).
Summer workouts will begin June 2nd, we'll get the summer schedule out in the next few days. We will workout Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 7pm-8:30pm. Summer workouts are open to all Eden athletes who will be in grades 7-12 in 2026-27, per UIL rules.
While summer workouts are important to our program, we want everyone to have a good, relaxing summer. All we ask is that if you're in town & don't have another commitment, come up and get some work in.
We do not keep attendance for summer workouts and want to be respectful of your family time. At the same time, we also know that in order to be successful next season, we must #EarntheRight by putting in the time for workouts whenever possible.

The National Honor Society is built on four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character — and the members of Eden High School’s NHS have truly embodied each of them this year. From academic excellence to community service, and involvement in FCCLA, band, and athletics, these students continue to represent their school and community with pride.
Last night, NHS members enjoyed a special evening of fellowship during a Progressive Dinner graciously hosted by community members. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Tina Briley for the appetizers, Mrs. Kit Hall for the delicious main course, and Mrs. Kay Pfluger for desserts and hospitality.
We are so grateful for these ladies who opened their homes and provided our students with a well-deserved evening of relaxation and celebration after a year of hard work!

Last night we celebrated the 2025-26 Athletic year with a wonderful Athletic Banquet, hosted by the Eden Athletic Booster Club.
We want to thank the Booster Club, parents, teachers, Administration, staff & community for their support of our athletes & programs.

Today our seniors took on “Ready, Set, Adult!: a day full of real life experiences and hands-on learning to help prepare them for life after high school. 🎓
Throughout the day, students participated in:
• CPR & Stop the Bleed Training
• Police Officer Interaction Training
• Easy Meal Prep Basics
• Ironing Skills
• Relaxing Mental Health Stations
• An “Adulting Quest” around town
During the Adulting Quest, students visited our local post office, bank, city office where they met with the mayor, insurance agency, grocery store, and even practiced making a doctor’s appointment over the phone. These may seem like small tasks, but they are important life skills that help build confidence, independence, communication skills, responsibility, and preparedness for adulthood. We wanted our students to leave with knowledge they can truly use in everyday life.
We are so thankful for all of the community members, businesses, and volunteers who helped make this day possible. A huge thank you to:

• Trooper Poerner and Officer Pearson for speaking with our students about police interactions.

It truly takes a community to prepare and support our students, and we are so grateful to everyone who invested their time, knowledge, and encouragement into our seniors today. We are proud of this group and excited to watch them take on the future! #ReadySetAdult #AdultingDay

With the possibility of stormy weather, Elementary Field Day will be moved to May 20th.

Physical packets have been issued to current 5th & 8th graders today. All forms must be filled out (please check both sides of each sheet) & brought back no later than Tuesday, May 12th in order to receive a free physical courtesy of the Concho County Medical Clinic. The back side of the blue sheet will be filled out by the physicians at the physical. The last page is the Sportsyou information (JH Sportsyou for 5th grade & their parents, and HS Sportsyou for 8th grade & their parents) - you may tear that sheet off & keep so you have that information.
Physicals will take place on Wednesday, May 13th beginning at 10:30am in the locker rooms at the school. Physicals are required for all students participating in athletics, band or cheer that will be in grades 6-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. If you do not wish to have your child take their physical on May 13th, the cost of a physical will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. We do ask that you do not turn in physical packets until they are complete. 5th grade students may return them to their classroom teachers, students in grades 6-11 please return to a member of the coaching staff.
