Great fun on STEM day for parents and kids

Another week, another schedule change. Our original opponent this week had to cancel due to injuries, so we had to find a different opponent. We'll play Saturday, Sept 20 vs. Fannindel IN STRAWN at 2:30pm.
We will not play a JV game this week, and we will be unable to play our JH game on Saturday, so we are currently looking for a JH opponent for Thursday in Eden. If we cannot find a JH opponent this week, we'll find someone to schedule on October 9th so our JH doesn't lose a game.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Great night for the Eden Bulldogs football team tonight. They defeated Lometa 64-14. As a reminder they will play next Saturday in Abilene. Double header with JH starting at 11 and Varsity following.

Big thanks to our FCS students and seniors for helping with food distribution this morning. It’s always inspiring to see Bulldogs serving their community!

This morning at 5:50 a.m., I crawled out of my truck dreading the workout Mr. Odom and I were about to begin. The thought of steps, sweat, and effort wasn’t exactly exciting.
But then, in the faint morning light, I noticed the Eden High School Cross Country girls running laps on the track—just one day after competing in a two-mile race in Coleman.
I was amazed—and inspired—by the work ethic these young ladies showed so early in the day. Their dedication reminded me to stop complaining, lace up my shoes, and get to work. Along with the coaches and young men who are also up early training hard, they serve as an inspiration to all of Eden. These athletes aren’t just preparing for races; they’re representing their school and their community with grit and determination.
The photo I snapped doesn’t do justice to the moment, but the message is clear: it’s a great day to be a Bulldog. As Mr. Odom always says, “It takes more to be a Bulldog.”
