We are so proud of our Eden FCCLA members for representing our chapter this weekend at the Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference! ❤️💙 Our students worked incredibly hard preparing for their STAR Events, and it truly showed in their performances. We are excited to share their results and celebrate the dedication, leadership, and growth each member demonstrated throughout this process. Competing at the state level is such an accomplishment and may of these teams placed in the top 5 with lots of competition. We couldn’t be more proud of how they represented Eden! Emma Sperry will get to continue her journey this summer in Washington, D.C.! State FCCLA Results: Leadership Level 3-1st Place State Champion & National Qualifier -Emma Sperry Chapter in Review Portfolio Level 3-3rd Place & National Alternate -Zoe Saiz -Jayce Torres Chapter in Review Portfolio Level 2-4th Place -Norah Betty -Lexi Loury Professional Presentation Level 2-5th Place -Joseph Clarke -Paige Lowe Nutrition & Wellness Level 3-State Qualifiers -Lilly Evans -Sophia Ortegon A special shoutout to our incoming Region Officer, Hena, who had the opportunity to attend the conference, experience everything it has to offer, and start learning the ropes of leadership at the next level. We are so excited to see all the amazing things she will bring back to our chapter and region and love have her representing us next year! Thank you to everyone who supports our program, our school, families, and community. Your support makes opportunities like this possible for our students. 💙

A little late due to repeated failed attempts at creating cool graphics, but we'd like to congratulate our Lady Bulldogs & Bulldogs for their strong showing at the 2026 UIL District 12-A Track & Field Championships on Tuesday! Both teams finished as runner-up.

The Lady Bulldogs took Gold in all 3 of the relays, as well as the Long Jump and Pole Vault. The Bulldogs won all 6 individual running events in the meet, taking a total of 9 gold medals and 5 silver medals out of the 15 events they competed in!

A majority of our athletes are moving on & have #EARNEDTHE RIGHT to compete in the Area Track Meet at Mertzon on April 17, starting at 9:45am!

Sorry for the late post, but wanted to say good job to Emma, Shelby, Hena & Rylinn for competing well in the District 12-A Tennis tournament on Monday! #EarntheRight

The HS Track teams did a tremendous job today at the 2026 District 12-A Championships! The Lady Bulldogs are team Runner-up, and the boys are currently 2nd, 7 points behind Menard with the Pole Vault to be run off tomorrow.

3:30pm - VG Pole Vault (Emma M - will be the only vaulter)
VB Pole Vault will follow (roughly 4pm - Shelby & Mauro & three Menard Vaulters)

Yesterday, the EHS Junior Class worked incredibly hard to create a fun and memorable prom experience for their peers and guests. Unfortunately, during the night, someone broke into the Burnes Pavilion and stole DJ equipment, lights, and several prizes.

Despite this setback, prom is still happening! We are working quickly and diligently to replace what’s needed to ensure tonight is a success.

Attached is a picture of the workers list - thank you ALL SO MUCH for helping with the meet. There were also countless JH & HS students who volunteered to help out all day. Thank you to Mr. Barrientez for cooking for the hospitality meal. Thank you to our maintenance staff for all of their hard work. For anyone we may have left out, we apologize but please know we are so grateful for your help!

We've received many compliments on our kids & our track meets the last 2 days - that is a direct reflection of the fantastic school and community that we're blessed to be a part of!

Here's the worker list for the Bulldog Invitational tomorrow (April 2nd) - JH students helping with field events will be released to the track after 5th period. If you're not on the list & would like to help with a field event, please find Coach Shelton & we can definitely use your help! Thanks again so much, without community support track meets are impossible to run off.

Congrats to our Junior High Girls & Boys track teams on a successful track season. Both teams took Runner-Up at the Junior High District 12-A meet today!

Track & Field is hard. It forces you to decide to compete, even if you may not win. We saw a lot of growth in our kids this season & couldn't be more proud!

A HUGE shout out to all of the people who helped make this meet a success. We received many compliments from other schools about our HS kids who stepped in to help in areas where we were short handed.

Congrats to our HS golfers for a good job at the District 12-A golf tournament! Emma Miller was 3rd place individual and qualified for the Region 2 Tournament in Baird April 13-14 as the second medalist. Nate Barba qualified for the Region 2 Tournament in San Angelo April 15-16 as the second medalist as well. #EarntheRight

Here is the new schedule for the Irion County HS meet today

Due to the anticipated wind on Friday, for the Irion County HS meet - the field events will start at 9:30am, the running will start at 12:00pm, and we will LEAVE THE SCHOOL at 7:15am! Coaches will be at the school by 6:30am. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Hi Everyone,

We're looking for help with timing/picking for the running events for the Bulldog Invitational on Thursday, 4/2/27. The field events start at 2:30pm, so we anticipate the running events starting around 5pm (it's not a very big meet). The running events typically take around 2 ½ hours to complete. We'll have a sausage wrap meal available for your help. If you'd like to help with field events as well, we can definitely use all the help we can get.

If you can assist us, please email me (jeff.shelton@edencisd.net) and let me know (helps me keep track of who is volunteering).
