Eden CISD

Eden Cross Country did an EXCELLENT job today at the UIL Region II-A Championships in Arlington! The Lady Bulldogs team of Rylinn, Miller, Kyra, Sperry, Piper, Chelsea & Nayeli placed 11th out of 23 teams, with alternates Hena & Natalie posted around the course to cheer their teammates on! But 11th place doesn't do justice to describe how hard these ladies pushed themselves & worked to pass other competitors in the race! Leadership & heart on full display, they showed that they Earned the Right to compete on the big stage today! The Bulldog team of JoJo, Jorge, Mauro, Julian, Blake, Cyler & Caler, cheered on by alternates Jarred, Jayvian & Jaime posted around the course to place 3rd & punch their ticket to the 2025 UIL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS! No individual medalists, just a great effort by 7 Bulldogs who #EarnedtheRight to compete on the biggest stage in the state of Texas! The State Cross Country meet will be on Friday, October 31st at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock at 11:25am. Great job by ALL of our Eden XC runners this season - whether your season ended at district, today or ends in 11 days, as a team y'all have done REMARKABLE things this season! Thank you to the Eden Booster Club for providing the team meal at Olive Garden on Sunday night! #EarntheRight
