The new K-12 campus building is coming along nicely! The secondary wing along Tillman Street is the furthest along. Walls are being painted, and bathrooms are being tiled. In the main lobby and cafeteria, interior walls have been bricked and ceiling grids are being installed. In the main lobby, almost 70,000 bricks will be used, enough to cover about 8 homes! In the elementary wing along Kelly Street, the sheetrock is being finished up.
Our students will tour the new building before school is out for the holidays. Also, we will conduct a new building tour for the public at the end of the month. We won't be able to move in to the new building this school year but are excited to have more time to move over the summer. We will start the 2022-23 school year in the new building. Look for info soon about the public tour in late December.
