This past Saturday, three of our Band members went to Lake View High School to audition for the 2021-2022 Middle School All-Region Bands.
There were close to 400 students from around the region representing 1A-4A schools. These students audition for a spot in the Symphonic and Honor (top) Bands.
Congratulations to the following students who placed in the Bands:
Honor Band
- Emma Sperry, 1st Chair Clarinet
- Donovan Torres, 4th Chair Tuba
Symphonic Band
- Jayce Torres, 2nd Chair Alternate Trombone
These students will participate in a Concert and Clinic in January at Clyde HS with the best middle school band members from around the region. The Bands will be conducted by extraordinary clinicians and conductors.
Emma Sperry placed 1st out of 54 clarinets in the Region. This is an outstanding accomplishment and Mr. Reaux had a little surprise for her:
