Now that the new campus building has an approximate completion date of March 31, 2022, the Board of Trustees has established other renovation priorities. One of the first priorities is the track. Since the track was built in the early 1990s, no maintenance has been done to update it. Track improvements will begin within the month and will take approximately 90 days for completion. Other improvements being considered are the football field bleachers, tennis courts, and stadium restrooms. New fencing will also be needed due to changes in stadium parking and entrances.
With a late March completion, several weeks will be needed for additional work, such as computer networking, key and bell systems, and furniture installation. With a busy spring schedule full of state standardized testing, we will not be able to move into the new campus building during the current year. We’ll kick off the 2022-23 school year in the new building.
