On October 14, the Eden CISD Board of Trustees hosted a meeting to gather input on the district mission statement. The meeting was well attended by parents, staff, students, and community members. 26 people participated in the process of identifying our community's values, talents, and what we want our school's mission to be. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Casey Callahan and Laura Strube from Region 15 Education Service Center.
This meeting was the first step in building a collaborative approach to our district goals and priorities. In the future, the Board of Trustees will work on refining priorities and setting goals to help our students be successful. You can see the work from this meeting here: https://5il.co/10ta1
