Beginning March 2021, Eden CISD began using STOPit, an online and app-based system, to empower students, parents, teachers, and others to anonymously report concerning behavior to school officials. This includes, but not limited to, bullying, cyberbullying, or threats of violence or self-harm.
STOPit does more than help schools address incidents and mitigate risk. It will help us go beyond reacting to bullying and inappropriate behavior and begin deterring it. We are empowering students to become upstanders in their school community. This is an important step as we continue to provide a positive school climate and safe learning environment for all students.
