In the first year of designating teachers, the Eden CISD has identified Tiffany Estrada as a Recognized teacher according to the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program approved by TEA. The TIA program provides funds to teachers based on student growth and teacher evaluation results. Under Eden CISD's program, teachers can earn stipends based on their performance. The designation levels are Recognized, Exemplary, and Master. The stipends attached to each designation are determined by TEA based on high-need campus factors and rural locations.
The TIA was started in 2019 to keep teachers in the classroom and create a pathway for higher salaries. In the 2023-24 school year, over $292 million dollars was awarded across the state of Texas in over 500 districts.
