As our school sees an increase in strep, flu, and RSV, we want to remind parents to keep their sick kids at home. If a student is sent home during the school day for fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, the child cannot return to school the next day.
Remember that students must meet the following criteria before they can return to school:
1. No fever (less than 100 degrees) for 24 hours without the help of fever-reducing medicines such as Tylenol or ibuprofen. Some over-the-counter cold medicines have fever-reducing medications, so please double-check.
2. No incidents of vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours.
