EDEN CISD

IMPORTANT 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL INFO

IN-PERSON LEARNERS

For students in grades 6-12 that have chosen “in-person” learning, the 1st day of school will be similar to years past.  JH/HS students will gather in front of the high school until the first bell rings.  While students will not be required to wear facemasks while outside, we do ask that they try and maintain safe social distancing.  Once the first bell rings, all JH/HS students will meet in the HS auditorium for a quick meeting and then it will be off to class!  Please remember, students will be required to wear their facemasks in class and while entering and exiting buildings.

For students in grades K-5th that have chosen “in-person” learning, the 1st day of school will look a bit different.  These students will be asked to go directly to their classrooms at 7:45am.  Any students that arrive on campus before 7:45 am will be asked to go to the cafeteria.  Parents, please do not drop students off at school before 7:30 am.  Please remember, students (grades 4th and up) will be required to wear their facemasks in class and while entering and exiting buildings.

Please remember that parents will not be allowed inside the school building.

ONLINE LEARNERS

K-12th grade students/parents that have chosen “online” learning need to come to the Eden CISD cafeteria pick up all things that they need for online learning (laptops, class schedules, supply lists, login information, etc.)   We will have registration paperwork for parents to fill out.  Parent/guardian of online students must attend.  If you do not attend, we will assume your child will be showing up for in-person instruction on the 1st day of school.

  • K-5th grade - Tuesday, August 11th from 5:00 pm-7pm in the Eden CISD cafeteria.
  • 6th-12th grade – Wednesday, August 12th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Eden CISD cafeteria.
